Buffalo Tofu & Celery Sticks
I love, love, love tofu-- amazingly versatile and a good source of protein, iron and calcium. One thing to keep in mind is to always buy organic non-GMO tofu. This recipe is perfect for a get-together, game day snack or appetizer. Of course it's simple like most of my recipes. Who likes to spend hours in the kitchen when it can be quick and easy?
- 10 oz firm tofu
- 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tbsp tamari sauce
- 8 celery stalks
- 1/2 cup vegan ranch dressing
Press tofu between paper towels to remove extra moisture. Slice length wise into smaller pieces. Add tofu sticks to a container and pour buffalo sauce and tamari sauce over. Make sure all of the tofu is covered with sauce. Cover and let sit in fridge for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a large pan under medium heat and carefully add tofu sticks. Cook for 15 minutes total, flipping every few minutes. Set on a plate, add celery sticks and dip in ranch. Enjoy!
